City Rail Link Art

As part of an art class with Miss Down, we have created images that will be displayed in the country's busiest rail station, once it opens to the public in 2023/2024.

These images will be used and turned into a ceramic tile and display within the station.

Inspirational Heroes

During reading we have been researching people who have faced challenges and stood up for what they believed in. They have either been a voice for people who don't have one, or are a person who never gave up when facing challenges.

My person is Malala Yousafzai
Come to room 6 to see my flip presentation of Malala Yousafzai.

Room 6's Cyber Safety

This term in room 6, we have been learning about Cyber Safety. We have learnt a lot about being a digital citizen. Here are three key rules that I think are important:

1: Anything I post on the internet stays there.

2: Don't share your personal details such as address, full name age address and your birthday, even if they say they know you they might not be who they say they are.

3:Be nice! If you are mean it called Cyber Bullying.

If you are ever unsure check with and ADULT!

Pepeha

During this term room 6 has been learning how to write a Pepeha. A Pepeha is a Maori introduction that establishes your identity and heritage. We learned how to say our Pepeha, we said it in front of the class and  then we used screencastify to video it. This is my Pepeha
